02
Definitions
Tutora is a digital platform for lessons, courses, student access, Classroom sessions, assignments, review, and progress. An Author Account belongs to a tutor or course creator; a Student Account is a separate learner account. A User is an account holder or an authorised representative of a legal entity. Tutora Free is a free plan without a trial deadline. Tutora Pro provides expanded limits and features for an agreed paid period. Classroom is the synchronous online-class function. A Booking is a guest’s request for an Author’s available time and becomes a confirmed class only after the Author expressly approves it. A Platform Review is a User’s rating and optional text about Tutora that may be published only after manual moderation. Content includes lessons, files, answers, messages, reviews, recordings, and other data created or uploaded by a User.
03
Service and Tutora’s role
The Provider grants the User a limited, non-exclusive right to access Tutora online, revocable only as allowed by this agreement and law. The applicable features are defined by the current plan, the plans page, and the order confirmation. Tutora supplies software infrastructure and is not a substitute for a teacher, educational institution, medical, psychological, or other professional advice. Authors independently determine curriculum, schedule, availability, pricing and delivery of their own teaching, legality of materials, and relations with students. Public booking is an organisational tool: Tutora does not collect payment for a booked class, guarantee the Author’s availability or performance, or create a class without the Author’s approval. Until a marketplace is separately launched, Tutora is not the seller of an Author’s courses, does not collect student payment for them, and does not guarantee learning outcomes.
04
Contract formation and version record
For a free account, acceptance occurs when the mandatory terms checkbox is selected during registration or when a new version is confirmed in the account and the form is submitted. Tutora records account type, identifier, document revision, date and time, acceptance method, IP address, and user agent as evidence of the electronic transaction. A paid Tutora Pro contract is formed after the User receives the final price, period, plan scope, payment method, and these terms, clearly confirms the order, and payment is credited. The document can be saved or printed before acceptance. The accepted version is available on request; material terms of an already-paid period are not changed retroactively.
05
Age, authority, and account security
An Author Account, Tutora Pro purchase, course selling, and payer role are limited to an adult with legal capacity, a sole trader, or an authorised representative of a legal entity. A minor may hold a Student Account only in learning organised by an adult Author, parent, guardian, or other lawful representative. Anyone supplying a minor’s data confirms a lawful basis and provides the minor with understandable privacy information. Each Author Account is for one Author. Password sharing with other teachers and impersonation are prohibited. Users must report suspected unauthorised access to support@tutora.com.ua and are responsible for activity before notice only to the extent permitted by law.
06
Plans, price, and taxes
Tutora Free includes up to 3 active courses, 6 active students, 1 GB of files, and the stated Classroom features. Tutora Pro includes up to 15 active courses, 50 active students, 5 GB of files, group Classroom, and other features listed on the plans page. The standard Tutora Pro price is UAH 699 for one month or UAH 6 990 for twelve months. This is the final User price, stated without VAT because of the Provider’s tax status, and includes the Provider’s taxes. A personal discount or free Pro days apply only for their stated duration and do not guarantee a future price.
07
Payment, activation, and renewal
Until card checkout is separately launched, Tutora Pro is paid only by direct bank transfer to the Provider’s business IBAN under an individual instruction. Users do not give Tutora payment-card details. Access is activated after payment is credited and identified; confirmation is sent to the account email. The current manual payment method has no automatic charge or renewal. A new period begins only after a new order and payment. Any future recurring payment will separately disclose amount, frequency, and cancellation method and require separate consent before the first charge.
08
Withdrawal, cancellation, and refunds
Before Tutora Pro is activated, the User may cancel and receive a full refund. Consumers retain all statutory rights for distance contracts and digital services. Activation before the statutory withdrawal period expires occurs only after the User separately requests immediate supply and acknowledges its legal consequences. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not delete the account or end already-paid access unless law requires it or a refund agreement says otherwise. The Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy sets out the process, timing, grounds, and method. Mandatory consumer rights prevail over this agreement.
09
Limits and expiry of Pro
Numeric limits are shown before ordering on the plans page and in the account. When a limit is reached, Tutora blocks only a new resource-consuming action for which capacity is unavailable; existing data is not automatically deleted. Personal exceptions are displayed in the account and last only until their stated date or agreed withdrawal. After Pro expires, an Author selects items within Free limits. Remaining items become read-only or inactive as appropriate. Reactivating Pro restores access under the current plan. Tutora provides a free Backup export for supported data.
10
Calendar, Classroom, and communications
Free includes up to 4 hours of individual 1:1 Classroom per personal monthly cycle. An active lesson is not interrupted when the allowance ends; only the next start is blocked. Pro has no monthly Classroom time limit, permits groups of up to 10 students, and allows no more than 1 active Classroom per Author. Good-faith use prohibits shared Author Accounts, resale, automated empty rooms, and deliberate excessive load. Free whiteboard, chat, and attachments are deleted after a session. Pro preserves them and allows up to 2 completed cloud recordings per class, retained for 180 days. Before recording, the Author must obtain all legally required consents, particularly for minors, explain purpose and retention, and not record an objecting person without another lawful basis. The recording indicator does not replace the Author’s notice duty. Manual scheduling is available within the applicable plan. Public booking is a Pro feature. A guest selects available time, supplies a name, email and optional comment, verifies the email within 15 minutes, and the request then awaits the Author’s express decision for up to 12 hours. This also applies to a known Student. The request is not a confirmed class before approval. The Author may approve, reject, reschedule, or cancel it; the guest may use a protected management link until the stated cutoff. A Booking is not payment for the class through Tutora. Email is the primary service channel. After approval, Tutora sends decisions and reminders 60 and 10 minutes before the class. Voluntarily connected Telegram duplicates notifications available to the role; relevant categories are enabled by default after connection, and the User may disable each category or disconnect Telegram. Failure to deliver email or Telegram does not change the class status; the current status should be checked in Tutora’s calendar.
11
Content, copyright, and publication
Ownership of Content does not transfer to Tutora. The User grants the Provider a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission, limited by storage duration and technical service territory, to store, copy, convert, transmit, and display Content only to operate selected features, back up data, protect the service, and comply with law. The User warrants lawful rights and grounds for Content and third-party data. A course or template is submitted for manual moderation and becomes public only after Tutora approves it; editing approved material may return it to moderation. Approval only checks platform rules and is not a warranty of legality, accuracy, or quality and does not release the Author from responsibility. A public template may be copied by another Author as an independent copy with source attribution shown by the interface. Tutora may refuse publication, restrict, or remove Content or an account for rule violations, a substantiated rights-holder notice, or a competent-authority request; the Author may contact support and respond unless law prevents notice. A Tutora review may contain a 1–5 rating and optional text. It appears on the homepage only after manual moderation; a low rating alone is not a violation. An Author Account review displays the Author’s public name, while a Student Account holder may choose their name or an anonymous label. Editing returns the review to moderation, Tutora may add a public reply, refuse publication, or remove a review for rule violations, and the User may delete it in account settings.
12
Prohibited use and access restriction
Users must not infringe rights; upload malware, unlawful, or clearly abusive content; harass participants; bypass authentication, quotas, or safeguards; scan without written permission; create automated load; sell account access; or use Tutora for fraud or unlawful data processing. Access may be immediately and temporarily restricted where there is a genuine threat to security, data, users, or service operation. Otherwise Tutora gives notice, a reasonable cure period, and a proportionate response. Permanent termination of paid access does not remove mandatory refund or consumer remedies. Decisions may be challenged at support@tutora.com.ua.
13
Quality, availability, and liability
Tutora provides the functionality, compatibility, availability, and updates described on the site and objectively necessary for ordinary use. Planned maintenance, emergency work, or events beyond reasonable control may temporarily affect access. Material planned maintenance is announced in advance where practicable. Users should report non-conformity with sufficient detail. Tutora will try to restore conformity free of charge within a reasonable time; where this is impossible or law provides another remedy, price reduction, termination, refund, or damages apply to the statutory extent. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be limited or narrows mandatory consumer rights.
14
Data, changes, complaints, and disputes
Personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy and browser storage by the Cookie Policy. A material new version is announced in the account or by email before application and requires renewed acceptance where rights or duties change. Non-material editorial changes may apply on publication. Invalidity of one clause does not invalidate the remainder. Complaints may be sent to support@tutora.com.ua or the Provider’s postal address. Tutora acknowledges and answers within the statutory period after verifying identity and facts. The parties first seek an amicable solution. Ukrainian law applies, and courts have jurisdiction under mandatory venue rules. Consumers remain free to contact the consumer protection authority, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, other competent authorities, or a court.
