Cookie Policy
Effective 20 August 2026. Tutora currently uses only necessary local storage and no advertising cookies.
01
What cookies and localStorage are
Cookies are small values stored by the browser and sent to the site; localStorage keeps settings without sending them on every request. They can be necessary for sign-in, security, and preferences. A session identifier does not contain the password.
02
What Tutora uses
Tutora uses a session cookie for signed-in sessions, an XSRF token for form protection, locale for language, and localStorage for the selected theme. Session duration follows secure server settings and activity; sign-out ends the server session. These items are necessary or remember an explicit preference.
03
Third-party components
Google OAuth is used only when selected; reCAPTCHA only if enabled and shown in the relevant form; YouTube privacy-enhanced embeds when opened; Daily or LiveKit during the relevant Classroom. These providers may create technical identifiers under their own policies. Do not open the function if you do not accept the relevant provider policy.
04
Analytics, advertising, and consent
As of this version, Tutora uses no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, behavioural profiling, or advertising cookies, so no optional-cookie consent banner is shown. Before adding optional analytics or advertising, Tutora will update this Policy and obtain prior consent where required.
05
Controls and blocking effects
Cookies can be deleted or blocked in the browser and localStorage cleared in site settings. Blocking session or XSRF cookies may prevent sign-in, form saving, and Classroom. Theme choice is lost when localStorage is cleared. Questions: support@tutora.com.ua.
